Vaccination Programme Continues Apace
Working alongside Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, we believe we have now offered a vaccine appointment to everyone aged 50 and over and everyone who is in priority groups 1-9.
Here at Meddygfa Glan Cynon Surgery, we will now be focussing on giving second doses to those of you who received your first dose from us.
We will be in touch to offer you your second dose appointment. Please do not contact the surgery to ask when you might be called.
If you are in priority groups 1-9 and have yet to have an appointment offer, then you need to contact Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB urgently.
There is a form on their website for groups 1-9 to complete. Please fill in your details and the Health Board will contact you with an appointment. Click on this link to access the form.
The Health Board is also operating a reserve list for its community vaccination centres (CVCs) for people 35 and over (35-49). You can join the list by clicking on this link.
If you have an appointment at one of the CVCs and do not wish to be vaccinated or cannot make your appointment, then please fill in the cancellation/rebooking form. Click here to cancel or request your appointment is rescheduled.
Thank you and thank you for coming forward for your vaccinations. As of April 15, 2021, 60% of people living in Cwm Taf Morgannwg have had their first dose with more than 300,000 vaccines (first and second doses) given. Primary care has played a huge part in the vaccination programme having given 135,000 first and second doses.
If you have any questions on the vaccination programme, please head to CTM UHB’s website for their frequently asked questions (FAQs). These include links to Public Health Wales’ website to answer questions around vaccine eligibility and safety. You will also find the contact details of CTM UHB’s vaccination advice line if you cannot find the answer to your question in the FAQs.
