How to make an Appointment
We offer a wide range of appointments and aim to triage your request to the most appropriate member of our primary health care team. This ensures you get the most appropriate management and that both yours and our time is used effectively. Our appointment desk opens at 8.00 am each day.
Please telephone the surgery to make an appointment.
Patients are able make appointments if they have registered with My health online via the Practice. The Forms are available from our receptionist.
Wasted Appointments – DNAs (did not attend)
Every month the practice is plagued by numerous wasted appointments where patients fail to attend. If you no longer require your appointment, could you please telephone the surgery to ensure another patient benefits from this allocation. If a patient regularly DNAs appointments, they may be asked to register with another GP.
It is difficult to allocate an appropriate time to the length of a consultation. In order to ensure surgeries run as smoothly as possible we ask patients to arrive 5 minutes prior to their appointment time. As each appointment is allocated a 10 minute time slot, anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule. If you feel that you may need longer than 10 mins with the Doctor, please inform the receptionist at the time you book your appointment.
If you have an e-mail address, you are now able to make an appointment with one of our GP’s online – please ask the receptionist for further information.
