Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) is coming
From 24 June, Ty Calon Lan Surgery will start using the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS). This means most prescriptions will be sent directly to your chosen pharmacy electronically, making the process faster, safer, and more convenient.
What this means for patients
- No need to collect paper prescriptions for most medicines
- Prescriptions go straight to your nominated pharmacy
- Fewer delays and fewer lost prescriptions
- You can track your prescriptions in the NHS App
Some items may still need a paper prescription, but this will be explained if it applies.
